In late 2000 a group of enthusiasts, inspired by the Croatian novel The Dolphin’s Dream by Adrian Predrag Kezele, initiated the founding of an NGO of the same name.
The primary aim of founding the society was the achievement of better cooperation among interested individuals, societies and institutions in the country and abroad on projects promoting ecological awareness, environmental protection and sustainable development of the Adriatic Sea, coast and islands.
